The Stint is No More
The Stint played its first and final and ONLY gig on Thursday the 18th at the Klinic in Madison with A Gnarly Swell and Mary Ellis. Doors at 9-ish, 5 bucks to get in. We gave away many free CDs, we rocked the joint. Check out the photos!
What Is The Stint?
The Stint was a Punk rock band in Madison, WI, but only from July 22nd, 2005, until about August 18th, 2005. Then ended. Why, you ask? A sensible question. Here's the short version of the story:
- Dan Clark finds himself in Madison for two months
- He asks his friend Tim Budziszewski if he'd like to get together and write some songs. Tim agrees that that would be fun
- Dan, not able to leave well enough alone, decides to take it to the next step: let's form a band, he says, and just for the last month that I'm here, and let's do it for real, with a gig and a recording and everything
- Tim foolishly agrees
- The Stint is born
